Cyanotype Portrait Sessions with Rosebud Workshops
As a part of Summer Nights at Canopy, Maud and Moon Art Therapy Studio will be hosting Rosebud Workshops for a night of cyanotype portraits. These are not headshots for your LinkedIn or Instagram, they are the kind of prints you treasure as an heirloom.
Cyanotype is sun-printing. Old-world, a little alchemical, entirely one of a kind. No two prints ever come out the same! Rosie will walk you through designing your own portrait and printing it on-site.
This is exactly the kind of thing we believe in at Maud and Moon: making something with your hands is meaningful and life affirming. You don't need to be "an artist" to walk out of your session with a unique and beautiful print.
What to Expect
Your portrait, your call. Bring a photo of your dog, your person, your wedding day, your whole messy beautiful family — whatever you want held in cyanotype blue forever.
📅 August 13, 6:30–9pm as a part of Summer Nights at Canopy Arts Complex in East Austin

Maud and Moon Art Therapy Studio (how to find us)
🎟️ $50 per session — $10 nonrefundable deposit to book, $40 due on-site for your final print
How to book:
Grab an open slot on our Google Calendar and Venmo your $10 deposit to @KaitlinMaud — include Cyanotype and your appointment time in the note.
Come with a photo, or come as you are
Each session is 15 minutes, so how you spend that time is up to you:
Email your photo ahead to kaitlin@maudandmoon.com and your whole 15 minutes goes toward designing your border — think natural fibers, dried florals, the stuff that makes a cyanotype actually sing.
Can't decide, or want to keep it spontaneous? Kaitlin will help you choose on the spot, or take your photograph right there in the studio. Just know that leaves less time for the hands-on border-building part.
Before you book….
Sessions are first-come, first-served and expected to move fast, so there's no rescheduling or cancellation once you've booked.
If something comes up, we'll do our best to accommodate you, but we can't promise anything! Please plan to arrive a little early (Canopy has plenty to explore that night) so you're not rushing in late and cutting into your 15 minutes.
Lastly- we're indoors in the studio, so portrait sessions will happen rain or shine!
